Have you ever had clothing tailored? Imagine your side of the mattress fitted to the specific needs of your body, using certified organic and non-toxic materials.

Our fitting takes the guesswork out. We ask how you sleep, have you lie down on each construction, and help you choose the comfort layers for each side. Partners can choose different firmness, and layers can be changed later as your needs change.

You'll sleep on this mattress for more than 2,500 nights. A few minutes on the showroom floor is time well spent.

Most conventional mattresses are built on polyurethane foam and meet fire standards with chemical flame retardants or fiberglass barriers. The mattresses we carry use organic latex, cotton, wool, and pocketed coils instead, and meet the same federal standards without them.

Do your mattresses contain fiberglass?

No. The Naturepedic and Berkeley Ergonomics mattresses we carry meet fire standards with wool and plant-based barriers instead of fiberglass or chemical flame retardants.

What happens at a Tailor-Fit fitting?

We ask how you sleep, have you lie down on each model, and help you choose the comfort layers for each side of the bed. No appointment needed.

Where can I try a Naturepedic mattress near Dayton or Yellow Springs?

Our Grandview Heights showroom on the west side of Columbus is about an hour from Dayton and Yellow Springs. Call ahead and we'll tell you which models are on the floor at each showroom.

How is this different from buying an organic mattress online?

You can lie on it first, compare constructions side by side, and get fitted before you buy, instead of choosing from photos and a quiz.

Why do organic mattresses cost more?

Certified organic latex, wool, and cotton cost more to grow and process than polyurethane foam, and certification adds independent testing.

Our founder, Tarik Yousef, brings an engineering background from Honda to furniture design—every joint is calculated for strength, every detail considered for longevity. We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery reinforced with stainless steel dowels, not cheap metal brackets or cam locks.

Mass-produced furniture is designed to be replaced. Ours is designed to be inherited. Bed slats bolt in rather than drop in, eliminating squeaks. Drawer slides are soft-close. Joints are precisely cut using time-tested techniques. When something is built this well, it only gets better with age.
