Every table we build starts as rough-sawn lumber in our Columbus shop — naturally fallen Ohio hardwood, hand-selected board by board for grain and figure. We join it with mortise and tenon. We finish it with a food-grade, zero-VOC oil developed with a food scientist at The Ohio State University. No veneers. No particleboard. No pocket screws. Choose cherry, walnut, white oak, or maple — all sourced within 200 miles of our shop. Each species has a personality: cherry darkens beautifully with sunlight, walnut carries chocolate tones and open grain, white oak is the hardest and most neutral, and maple is the lightest and tightest-grained of the four.

Made to order, built to your dimensions.

Standard sizes are a starting point. Tell us the length, width, and height you need, and we'll build to it. Our lead time is three to six weeks — long enough to do it right, short enough that you'll have it before the next holiday.

What "solid wood" actually means.

Most furniture sold as "wood" is a thin veneer over MDF or particleboard. Our tables are hardwood all the way through. You can refinish them. You can repair them. You can pass them down. That's not a marketing claim — it's what the lifetime structural guarantee is built on.

Safe for the people who sit at them.

The finish on every table is zero-VOC and food-grade, developed with Dr. Ahmed Yousef, a microbiologist at OSU. Safe for toddlers who chew the edge of the table. Safe for the plate your dinner sits on.
