Limited Warranty

Who the warranty covers

This warranty extends to the original purchaser of the product. The product must be purchased directly from T.Y. Fine Furniture or an authorized T.Y. Fine Furniture retailer. Please maintain a copy of your receipt for proof of purchase.

Duration of coverage

Standard Furniture Designs

T.Y. Fine Furniture warranties its standard furniture designs for the original owner's lifetime against failure due to workmanship or wooden components.

Hardware & Components

Hardware, electrical, and upholstery components are covered under warranty for five years after delivery date.

What the warranty covers

This warranty covers any breakage of or defects in the wooden frame, joinery, hardware, and structural components of T.Y. Fine Furniture products during normal residential use. The furniture must be assembled correctly according to provided instructions. T.Y. Fine Furniture will repair or replace, in our discretion, damaged or defective products that are covered by this warranty.

Custom Orders

An order is considered custom if it is altered from our standard offering in any way; this includes customer's own materials, alternate wood species, and other modifications to sizing or specs. Custom orders and orders incorporating non-standard electronics, hardware, or upholstery carry only the manufacturer's warranty.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Damage that occurs to the product in transit
  • Damage caused by modifying, attempting to fix, or otherwise altering the product
  • Physical abuse including burns, cuts, scratches, or stains
  • Damage caused by natural disasters such as flood, fire, or earthquake
  • Damage resulting from negligence or misuse
  • Structural, joinery, or material failure due to climate, UV, or humidity exposure
  • Damage caused by extreme temperature or humidity conditions
  • Warping or cracking due to environmental conditions beyond normal indoor use
  • Normal wear and tear including minor scratches, dents, or color variations
  • Fading caused by continuous exposure to sunlight or UV light
  • Damage caused by pets, children, or accidents
  • Upholstered elements, fabric, leather, foam components, mattresses, or other items not manufactured by T.Y. Fine Furniture (these items are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty)
  • Finish variations or natural wood characteristics such as grain patterns, knots, or color variations
  • Products used in commercial, hospitality, rental, or other business applications
  • A change of mind or dissatisfaction with appearance

Photos of damage or defects must be provided for review. All warranty claims are subject to inspection by T.Y. Fine Furniture. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. We reserve sole discretion to determine whether or not damages are covered under this warranty.
