Your piece is built first, then shipped. Delivery time depends on the option you choose.
We build it
We hand-select and match your boards, then mill, join, sand, and finish your piece in our Columbus shop.
3–4 weeks
Standard curbside shipping
Free on every order. Packed in boxes for easy moving and setup. Adds 1–2 weeks after it's built.
Estimated total: 4–6 weeks
White glove delivery
In-home delivery with setup and packaging removal. Adds 3–5 weeks after it's built.
Estimated total: 6–9 weeks
Local orders of T.Y. furniture get free white glove delivery.
Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for you
We don't hold inventory. When you order, we select the boards for your piece by hand, matched for grain, color, and figure, then build it in our Columbus shop.
The wait covers every step that makes a piece last:
- Milling: top-grade hardwood cut and dimensioned for your piece
- Joinery: traditional mortise and tenon, fitted by hand
- Glue-up and sanding: assembled, flattened, and smoothed
- Finish curing: several days for the zero-VOC organic finish to cure
Rushing any of those steps is how furniture fails in ten years instead of lasting a hundred.
