The Recliner That Moves With You
Norwegian design since 1971. The Plus and Glide systems adjust to your body as you lean back — so your head and lower back stay supported in every position. Recliners and sofas are in stock at both Columbus showrooms — come sit in one today.
We build solid hardwood furniture meant to last generations. Stressless is the one recliner we put next to it — because it's engineered to the same standard.
Comfort Is a Mechanism, Not a Cushion
Most recliners are a padded box on a lever. A Stressless is a moving frame that responds to your weight.
Plus™ System
Head and lumbar support adjust automatically as you recline. No neck strain, no gap at the lower back.
Glide™ System
Seat and back move together. Lean back and your body weight sets the position — no handle, no lever.
Three Sizes
Most recliners come in small, medium, and large. Your chair fits your height, not an average.
BalanceAdapt™
On select models, the seat follows small shifts in your body with a gentle rocking motion.
Recliners, Sofas & Sectionals
Sit First. Then Build Yours.
We keep Stressless recliners and sofas in stock at both showrooms, so you can sit in them before you decide. Fifteen minutes on the floor is the difference between a good chair and the right one.
- 1Sit in the chairs we have in stock. We'll help you find the size where your feet rest flat and your head lands on the support.
- 2Pick your model and base — classic, signature, cross, power, or office.
- 3Choose from over 100 leather colors and fabrics, with samples in hand.
- 4Want a size, leather or base we don't have on the floor? We order it from Ekornes and deliver it to your home.
