Handcrafted in Columbus, Ohio, every piece is built from 100% solid American hardwood, including sustainably sourced cherry, walnut, oak, and maple—never veneers, particle board, or MDF. Finished with our organic, zero-VOC wood oils and waxes, these solid wood pieces support a healthier home while allowing the natural character of the hardwood to deepen beautifully over time. Our Craft Philosophy

Every T.Y. piece is the result of deliberate choices — from the trees we source to the finish we apply by hand. Open any section below to see what goes into furniture built to outlive us.
Every piece is built by hand in our Columbus, Ohio workshop using 100% solid hardwood— no veneers, no particle board, no MDF. We source from naturally fallen Ohio trees and regional sawmills that properly kiln-dry and cure their lumber. The result is furniture built to outlast everything.
We developed our signature finish with Dr. Ahmed Yousef, a food scientist at Ohio State University. It uses food-grade oils and waxes with zero VOC emissions — no off-gassing, no harmful chemicals, no synthetic lacquers. Safe for bedrooms, nurseries, and every room in the house. Easy to maintain, impossible to replicate off a shelf.
Our founder Tarik Yousef brought an engineering background from Honda to furniture design. Every joint is calculated for structural load, not just aesthetics. We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery reinforced with stainless steel dowels in our solid wood construction. No pocket screws. No cam locks. Ever.
Mass-produced furniture is designed to be replaced. Ours is designed to be inherited. Bed slats bolt in to eliminate squeaks. Drawer slides are soft-close. When something is built this well, it only gets better with age — and we back that with a lifetime structural guarantee.
Because every piece is built in our Columbus workshop, we accommodate custom dimensions, wood species, and design modifications. Need it 2 inches shorter or sized for an awkward wall?
