Naturally fallen Ohio trees and regional sawmills that kiln-dry and cure properly. Team, shop, and materials within 200 miles.
Boards Hand-Picked
We pull and match every board for grain and color before a single cut is made.
Joined to Last
Mortise and tenon, dovetails, and floating tenons — joinery that gets tighter with age, not looser.
Finished by Hand
Our own zero-VOC organic oil, rubbed in by hand and cured in the shop before it ships.
A finish you could eat off. Because we tested that.
Most wood finishes are loaded with VOCs and harsh chemicals. Ours is food-grade certified organic oils and natural waxes, developed with Dr. Ahmed Yousef, a microbiologist at Ohio State.
Zero volatile compounds. Safe for nurseries and kitchens. Scratches repair in minutes at home, and it only looks better with age.
