Dressers

The T.Y. Fine Furniture Solid Wood Dressers Collection brings together the brand's most elegant handmade storage solutions, offering a diverse range of solid wood dressers, chests, and upright cabinets that span minimalist mid-century modern, serene Japanese-inspired, and contemporary styles to suit any bedroom or living space. Each dresser is meticulously handcrafted in our Columbus, Ohio workshop using only 100% solid American hardwoods—premium cherry, walnut, oak, or maple—sustainably sourced from regional forests, with absolutely no veneers, particle board, or MDF, ensuring unparalleled strength, natural grain beauty, and heirloom durability that improves with age. Finished with our proprietary eco-friendly, zero-VOC organic oils and waxes, these non-toxic pieces promote healthy indoor air quality while delivering a luxurious, maintainable surface perfect for bedrooms, nurseries, and family homes.

Highlight pieces include the Enso Dressers with sculpted drawer pulls, beaded edges, paneled sides, and unique bowtie-shaped walnut accents for elevated Zen-like sophistication; the Modern Dressers featuring clean mid-century lines, tapered legs, and push-to-open convenience for understated versatility; the Apollo Dressers with elegant brass handles, soft-close slides, and minimalist function-focused design that works beautifully as bedroom storage or living room credenzas; and the Sunrise Dresser boasting subtle curves, round tapered legs, and torii gate-inspired refinement for multifunctional elegance. All drawers incorporate premium soft-close undermount or side-mount slides, dovetailed joints, and thoughtful proportions for smooth, quiet daily use and generous organization.

Customization is key at T.Y. Fine Furniture: select wood species, adjust drawer configurations, modify dimensions, add two-tone accents, or incorporate special features to create a dresser perfectly tailored to your needs and aesthetic. Every piece in our Columbus, Ohio workshop is built by hand using 100% solid wood—never veneers, particle board, or MDF. We source our hardwoods from naturally fallen Ohio trees and regional sawmills that properly kiln-dry and cure their lumber, ensuring your furniture will last for generations.

We developed our signature finish using food-grade oils and waxes with zero VOC emissions. Unlike conventional lacquers and stains that off-gas harmful chemicals, our organic finish is safe for your family and easy to maintain. This makes our furniture ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, and homes where air quality matters.

Founded in 2004, T.Y. Fine Furniture combines old-world craftsmanship with modern precision. Our founder, Tarik Yousef, brings an engineering background from Honda to furniture design—every joint is calculated for strength, every detail considered for longevity. We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery reinforced with stainless steel dowels, not cheap metal brackets or cam locks.

Mass-produced furniture is designed to be replaced. Ours is designed to be inherited. Bed slats bolt in rather than drop in, eliminating squeaks. Drawer slides are soft-close. Joints are precisely cut using time-tested techniques. When something is built this well, it only gets better with age.

Because every piece is built in our Columbus workshop, we can accommodate custom dimensions, wood species, and design modifications. Need a bed 2 inches shorter or a dresser sized for an awkward space? We build to your specifications. Contact us to discuss your project.
